Summer Meetings

"Life is always better when you're waiting for something to grow or something to hatch."

Charlotte, from Charlotte's Web (E.B. White)

We will be meeting this summer to weed and maintain the Pollinator and Woodland Habitats. We also have the sunflower area to observe and weed.
Please come prepared with gloves, water bottle, and a hat/sunscreen.
These meetings are optional, but we really could use your help.

On June 28th our group met to weed and maintain the Pollinator Habitat. We also checked to see the growth of the Great Sunflower Project. Thanks to Falco, Lukas, Cole, Shawn, Kennedy, Ryan, Michael, McGregor,  and Michael G.

On July 6, 2010 we met to weed and mulch the Woodland Habitat. We also checked the growth of the Sunflower Project. The Ox-eyes are blooming and pictures of the four bees are displayed in the garden. We hope to start observing and counting bees on July 20th. Thanks to Falco, Kennedy, Logan, Lukas, McGregor, Michael G. for withstanding the heat to make the Woodland Habitat look great!
