This past year we were grateful to the following people who donated money, time,  or materials to our habitats.

$800 Wal-Mart Community Grant 2006

Lou Attanucci- framing and posting our Certified Wildlife Habitat signs

Michele Amore- iron hooks for bird feeders, tools and seeds for the courtyard vegetable planting

  Lavina Kerklo- heated birdbath in honor of her late husband Don Kerklo

Mr. Betzner- bags of topsoil and seeds

Mr. and Mrs. Falco Muscante- cash donation

The Western PA Audobon Society for their $350 grant for 2005 Best Schoolyard Habitat in the Elementary category.

Wal-Mart donated 1,000 packages of vegetable seeds. These seeds will be used in the spring for greenhouse projects.

Modern Woodmen of America (Fraternal Financial Services-compliments of Henry Cassady of Greensburg) for their donation of 30 cardboard binoculars, ecology field books, certificates, and ecology leader manuals. Feb. 2007

Money donation in honor of the the late Ed Wirbicki, father of Valerie Wirbicki Shaw and Vicki Osheka

Bill Baker from Troop 461 for donating the wooden birdhouse patterns, hinges, and nails for the Summer July 24th meeting birdhouse building project.

Phil Pompeo, Lowe's Store Manager, for donating a cut pine tree for our Woodland Habitat.

Lou Attanucci- for repairing the heated fountain and also for mounting the wooden roosting house in the Woodland Habitat

Money donation in honor of the late Donald Bernens, father of Patti Kostik. 

Money donation from Mr. Betzner which will be used to buy 2 new benches for the Woodland Habitat.

Lou Attanucci- for mounting 7 birdhouses that will be placed in the front and back of our school
